Colonial's March 2018 Donations

The month of March saw Colonial continue to support local organizations by awarding grants and donations to help support the efforts of these fine organizations.

The Center for Transforming Lives

On March 21, the Colonial Savings Foundation gave a donation to The Center for Transforming Lives (CTL). For more than 110 years, the organization has provided anti-poverty programs for women and children in Tarrant County.

Today, the Center for Transforming Lives helps homeless and impoverished women, children, and families move from poverty to independence through:

  • Homeless services – an emergency shelter for women and housing assistance for families.
  • Early Childhood Development – providing free or subsidized early childhood education to impoverished and homeless families.
  • Financial Empowerment Services – individual financial coaching and other programs to promote financial self-sufficiency.
